11-1-11:D IPO day 2

Hellos!
Day 2 woohoo! I mention camaraderie on my previous post and woots that's the moral of today's awesome adventure :D anyways within a school unity is indeed of utmost important as it decides a strength of a group of people, in this case, Victorians:D
Alright the adventure of camaraderie begins again at7:40 in the E. hub:) with another awesome wait before the activities really kick start. Cheers! That's a great way to start a day:) It just hype us up a bit from our sleepy, zombiefied selves into weaklings as quoted from Francis lol 
So after getting more awake, more fun comes in:) station games! Woots! Once again in my awesome 1A tribe we conquered stations after stations, suck up one gamemaster after another brought smiles to one person to another and we build a strong tie between one another:) Darren and I got a little tip from the AWESOME 10v11 senior, Hans, on how to please and suck up to GMs more effectively:) 
It became a routine for each station. Darren and I would use the ping pong balls as ring boxes den kneel down to propose a marriage to the GM lol while the girls started singing You're My Sunshine hahaha:) yea FUn rite? Not after so many times! lol 
Enjoyed the shaving cream face palm on Darren and he took revenge, on my sideburns... -.-
Anyways human foosball was really fun and competitive for tribes 1A and 1B combined, we won thanks to the winner penalty kick from Megan.
Haha woots we won by a score of 4-2 :D gotto thank all the supporters as well:) 
The other match didn't go as well but we've tried our best and are quite satisfied I believe:) anyway it's a friendly:) goodjob to the winner side!:) 
Lunch! Had chicken chop and was as awesome as the fish n chips ytd:) food at VJC is just so much better! 
Den MASS DANCE:D woots! It was messy and very messy! Some couldnt catch the moves and just stoned there lol but I enjoyed it! Especially when we do it as a cohort:) 130 plus people dancing to the music together:) 
Completed one dance and many were dead beat already! All dying to sit down! It was fun exhausting! Good at least it makes us tired to sleep early tonight haha 
Okay I'm looking forward to tomorrow! WET ACTIVITIES! And dirty too I heard :X haha okay goodnights! :)woots 11:11pm

HEY, GUYS!

Another great day passed. For me, today is much better than yesterday because I did more communication with the local students. ; ) And today’s activities are more interesting.

The station game is my favorite. The teamwork was always the most important part. That’s good to let us know others better. The mass dance, eh, what can I say about it: quite funny and also quite tiring. I think everyone danced very well!!! Thought I’ve tried my best.

At the end of the day, the PSLs said that we would have ‘STATION WET GAMES’. What will it be like? I’m really looking forward to the third day.

I have decided to write a not-so-long post today.

Today was awesome (:

The day started off normally (chitchatting in concourse blahblahblah)
Theen we learnt lotsa cheers today –skipskip-
Then the farnnneh video where Angela was erm… farnneh LOL

THEN STATION GAMES. YEAAAAAAAA. STATION GAMES WERE AWESUMZ.
OKAY. THE FIRST GAME THE FLAG THINGY (Y) HEH I KINDA SLAPPED THE OTHER GIRL’S BUTT BY ACCIDENT LOLOL
AND RETARDED YOUJING PULLED OLIVER’S TAIL, HHAAAHAHHA. OMG I FEEL DAMN RETARDED.
I WANNA HIDE IN A HOLE. SO SORRY, OLIVER! D:

Okay I cnt rmb the order of the games. Wtv. Then erm THE CHESS GAME LOL (Y) WHILE DHIRAJ AND JACK WAS DISCO-ING IN THE MIDDLE, I WAS BLENDING IN AT THE CORNER. LOLLLL. THANK GOD I STAYED IN THE CORNER. LOL. (Y) INCONSPICUOUSLY HIDING IN ONE CORNER IS (Y) LOLLLL.

OKAY. THEN. THE PING PONG BALL GAME (Y) OMG. THROW THE BALLS YEA (: POOR HUIMIN. The hair also got the cream alr. LOL. And yea jack kinda cheated. HAHAHHA. (Y)

Then I cnt really rmb the other games… Oh the steps of WISDOM LOL. The steps with the riddles. Its freaking retarded. (Y)

Then… ohohoh THE GAME AT ANGELA’S STATION. YEA. Harish thought us some trick to get it over and done with (: yay. We fin in 26secs OH YEAAA. But heard that last time in his generation, they fin in 6s. HHAHAHA. (Y) (THANKS HARISH, FOR THE TIPS) Thankfully, We have Korean fans in our tribe. HUIMIN sang so many songs to angela. Maxed out bonus ;). HHAHA. But Heard that Darren’s group proposed to her winkwink. HAHHA (Y) Made her flyyyyy. LOL.

Then Jack’s fav game. The twister thingy(: omg for a non-sporty person like me, I was dying. Hop walk run cat walk hahhahah. (Y) THE CATWALK WAS FUNNNN. I FELT SO VAIN. LOLLLLLLLL. Andris' Reflection - Day 2

Yay! It’s Day 2 and I(We) had even more fun! :D

Ok… Firstly, I would like to comment that taking bus 135, 43 and 76 is a very sickening thing since there are like so many other students taking the bus too. I got ALMOST nowhere to stand. Pshht. -.-

Lets go all the way to the part when we start our activities. Cheering… Yay! What fun! What excitement! What a tedious job… I mean like, shouting in morning? I’m still half in dreamland. Haha. But anyways, we had to do it. After the first cheer, I think I sort of woke up already. Hehe. I think by the end of the non-stop training, I think I can remember most of the cheers already. :D

Hephaestus was funny cause he insisted that whoever who sings a Taylor Swift song to him; he would give like 100points for that person. O.o Guess it was time to be thick skin so I went up with Megan and Jaslyn. It was funny to see some people only mouthing the words. :D

Today’s station game was fun. The first game was funny. Like we were supposed to guard our tail and flags. Jack’s tail was epic! Haha! I enjoyed the ping-pong game cause Jack and Oliver had to spread like shaving cream all over his face! HAHA! It was like pure white. :P The dark room got a cute fluffy yellow pillow! It reminds me of the despicable me, “IT’S SOOO FLUFFY I’M GONNA DIE!” :D Haha. Cheering was pretty funny today. We were like dancing in circles and singing:

Oh not to forget the flour game. I was like white. Very white. Uber white. -.- Jack spilled flour all over my face and You Jing tried hard not to laugh cause, I know, I look very very very funny. But now, I’m suffering cause red dots are like appearing? Anyone got ideas to treat these stupid little red dots? ): Extremely desperate now!

Fooseball/Fuseball/Foolsball/Foosball was totally yuck. Thanks to it I got like, kicked. -.- And that person didn’t even apologise! O: But anyways great job to those people who scored! You guys rock!!! :D

Then lunch and immediately, mass dance. Jumping sure almost made me puke! O: Oh then Angela made me stand between Calvin and Sean. How evil of her! Not that standing between Calvin and Sean is like evil but I mean, don’t you feel terrible being the valley between two mountains?! ._. Mass dance was awesome since most of the steps were like similar to the one in ANDSS but I was like sweating a lot although the air con is on?! And I was dying too. I think the step-twirl-bend-up-bend-twirl-right-left thingy was like totally confusing. ): I keep on doing the second part wrongly. Sorry to those I bumped into! ):

Building boat! :D Yay! I was fun! :D I really enjoyed working you people cause you guys are so creative! (: But we should probably be more cooperative and decide on an idea in which all or majority agrees to. That is to avoid quarrels and the waste of time. I love the specialised 1/1 part! It’s so cool! :D HAHA! :D So trying to get like masking tape was a pain in the neck. We had to scream PUMP IT UP, SHAKE IT UP, HYPE IT UP, so loudly. Lucky you guys are all loud people! Yay! :D

Anyways, I really had an awesome time today thanks to all of you! :D

Day 2 of Vincent's IPO

Ohai there guys.

Welcome to day 2 of mah reflections! :D Yay.
Anyway I hope this one will be relatively shorter than day 1's, cos im super shagg now :/


Okayy. (takes out program booklet again) We started off the day on the high. By high, i mean HIIIIIGH. We sang more School Cheers and also recited our own Class Cheer, which i believe needs more polishing -ahem-. We also heard our daily dose of the PSL Cheer (yes the rifle-bang one), which after 2 days, I still couldnt decipher what they said. Oh well, moving on. 

We then went on to Station Games. As tribes, of course. They were many games, involving a lil shaving, twister, chess, word puzzles, and the ever popular Chee Cheong Fun and Mash Potato forfeits. A lot of sucking up was done too. In fact, there was more suckin' up then playing the games itself, actually. And that was without using straws. The games were great, not to mention the Day-God, Francis too, and how he reacted when Ms. Vivien Ng and some other dude stepped into the Electives Hub. It's also his birthday tomorrow! Yay.


Then came Foosball/Fuseball/Foolsball/Fusball/足球 (pick one). We had to behave like those lil people in the Soccer Tables you see in the clubhouses, where you have to insert $1 to play 7 balls. In other words, we were linked together in 3s, and had to play soccer. All was well when 1A+1B beat 2A+2B, until it came to 1C+1D vs v15. I got whacked in the face by the ball by some v15 dude. D: Sad right. Well that's life. Moving on, we ended up losing because of the girls scoring and earning 2 times more points than how a guy would score.


(Okay this post is starting to look long now, damn) After Lunch was Mass Dance. We learnt 2 songs and practiced how to dance along with them. All of us lost our brand new Chevrolets in the process. Must be the God of Theives. That messenger dude. (Harish right? Lol) :OO Anyway, I had alot of fun during the Mass Dance, and it was a great way to help break the ice in class and heat things up. Speaking of heating things up, the aircon at the 11V11 area started to run out of gas, so it was really warm. So we had to find an area in the room where the aircon was mainly hitting. We found it, and 3 of us -ahem- had the good life. For awhile, at least. 


After the dancing and all was a boat building time. Using the materials from the Station Games, we had to make a Ship big enough for Poseidon to ride from the Great Seas to the Mountain of Awesomeness. Unfortunately all we had was balloons, sticks, straws, etc. So... I guess Poseidon has to wait for another few decades till the next IPO receives bigger materials :D, while we built a Proto-type. In the end, 11 managed to make a boat (in the nick of time). Although it looked like our boat was the smallest, its the effort that counts, right. ...Right?


Well okay in retrospect, I guess the day was great as we had more opportunities to bond with our mates. Although we were all tired and stuff, it was a brilliant day. :D

And... this post ended up being longer than the previous one. Oh well. GuessI wasnt built for writing short entries.

2nd day of IPO :D!

The first thing we did were the cheers and after the first day I was more used to shouting and cheering :) It was fun to learn new cheers and VS boys had an advantage for the VJ Unite cheer :P

Station games after that. MORE sucking up and cheering. Although the cheers get repetitive, we always had fun. It also felt great to lead some of our tribe cheers too !

MASS DANCE next. i suddenly got more tired after lunch, no idea why o.o but the dance was awesome since everyone did it so it wasn't weird in anyway. TIRED... Really liked the PSLs' enthusiasm in the cheers and dance it brought up the mood of everyone :D.

Again looking forward to the next day, gonna get sore throat soon but its okaee:)

Thanks again for another day of awesome fun! :) We totally rocked! >:)
Mm 1B you guys were all super cool running around and doing the crazy things the game masters made us do! Hahah yay the super enthu tribe has come close to losing their voices. Nonetheless, it was all soooooo funnnn!! :)

Mm I think we also learnt a lot from Fooseball today, with the friendly competition. Though v15 might have accidentally fouled but the referees didn't call. BECAUSE WE HAVE SUCH GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, we all know we wanted to give them chance right! :P Hahaha. Anyways, dust on the shoulder! Shake it off and prepare ourselves for more of that kinda of challenges ahead (WHERE WE WILL DEFINITELY BEAT EVERYONE) OKAY!!!

Oooh and I think the mass dance to day was really tiring.. Heh. But it was quite fun still! :) Especially being at the back, Oliver and I kept banging against the glass door! :/ But it was quite fun jumping around.

Tiring dayyy!! :) I think we rocked anyways. Oh wait I mentioned that already!! Hahaha neverminddd. LOVE 11V11 TTM!!! <3 WE SHALL ROCK THE NEXT 3 DAYS OF ORIENTATION AND INV!GORATE NEXT WEEEEEK!! :)

Jaslyn's Day 2 Reflections

I found out today that ALOT of energy is needed to keep up and I've either had too little exercise recently, or the things were quite physically challenging at times....

During the team games, a lot of teamwork was required. I have some really spontaneous teammates!!

I enjoyed how the station games were both mentally and physically challenging. But I was really tired from all the cheering... *cough* *cough*

It was fun to be around all the hyperness and enthusiasim. And I learnt that we should never be too shy to speak out... or else....

Ginnette's Reflections for Day 2

This morning I was quite dead. I think all mornings will be like that for me. I feel like I live in a different time zone. I AM AWFUL WITH MORNINGS. :( Anyway, I did regain some energy after doing school cheers.
Station games were quite fun. 1A got so many points today horh. hahaha. Thank you Darren and Calvin for being so sporting and proposing to almost all the game masters. We had to do lots of errands and favours for the points too. AND THE SUCKING UP. The game masters' egos won't survive IPO. THEY WOULD ALL EXPLODE!! Those points were hard earned points.
Fooseball was fun. Sorry for the handball. And those annoying blades of 'grass' .......
Mass dance was interesting. I think I forgot them already. Oh well. We are going to learn more, aren't we?
So then I left to go to the dentist and I have no idea what happened during boat building. Now after 2 days, I feel like a zombie.

okay i wanna thank you guys for being so sporty and stuff and i had such a BLAST! it was really fun watching you guys scream like crazyyyy and also watching you guys look totally awkward when you dont know the other person's name :P those moments were 100% entertaining! :P so icebreakers were definitely the best part! :)

and if i yknow, offended/angered/irritated any of you guys, im sorry!! i know i can be annoying/harsh/impatient/bossy, etc at times!

omg today was much less tiring than yesterday! without the time factor, we [LUCKILY] didnt need to run during the station games!! and the best part was definitely FOOSBALL!! it was SO fun watching you guys score and then i LOVED part when i got to scream whenever we scored!! and im so amazedddd that you guys are such good scorers/defenders! and i really mean EVERY single one of you! woohoo!!

and mass dance was SO much easier than i thought! and SO much longer!!

and im loving IPO more and more!

Day twoooo reflections~

Omt, today
was tiring. But really fun~ I think the station games today had more ‘movement’
so it was exciting.

Anywayyyy, zhen yu is damn good and throwing ping pongs (: woots. And I shouldn’t have
done the running thingo for the twister cause the crunches made my abrasions
worse from day one’s sit ups. Why always kenna. O; Our group the guys damn shy
somemore. Cheering was fun and I still can’t get the lyrics so I go blabla.

Then massdance was fun cause we get to scream and not only dance ;D And it was mass-ish,
Ive never done these kind of mass dance! Usually is pair pair (the girlie one).

And making the boat helped us learn that everyone has different characters and it made us
feel that we need to start getting to know each other more!

Day Two Reflections: Tristen Tjokro

Hey guys, I’m back again after just eating my dinner and listening to my music… Let’s get straight down the point, shall we? Yes, yesterday, we had activities such as the Treasure Hunt, coming up with cheers and watching fun videos of our PSLs making us laugh. YooHoo!

However, today was very much different, different in what sense? It was stated in our booklet that we were going to have mass dancing… What?! That was unexpected and Sean hated it the moment he knew, but who knew that it was so much fun (and we even learned two dances). Before that, we also had station games to play with and this time around, we had a different PSL to lead us, Marcus, or also known as Apollo, the god of music. (You should all know him, Where is the love?)

Afterwards, we also had the boat building competition with the other classes, this was when the ‘prizes’ we gained from station games come in handy. The materials we gained which include water bottles, ice-cream sticks, balloons, etc. We even had the chance to get even more materials from the PSLs, just so we can sabotage the other classes to have lesser points. (Hmm…I wonder whose great idea that was?)

Overall, I found the dances most fun, followed by the station games. I would to say that I was tired at all, but I would clearly be lying. (Duh?!) I found that working together with not only your tribe , but with the whole class requires a huge amount of effort, to be able to give in every now and then for the greater good. But, at the same time, it taught me that cooperating with one another will indeed our class bond indefinitely, making us stronger in every sense as a class…I think.

Regardless, I had a really fun time today and I glad we ended off with a high note.

Reflections for Day 2

Hi.

Today, we started off the day with school cheers! I think we are getting to remember the lyrics more and more. IP 1s were really enthusiastic saying the cheers and trying to be louder than the PSLs.

Then we watched the video on how to be a model demi-god which was hilarious! Then we went on to the station games.

I believed we all had a lot of fun playing the station games, and screaming out all sorts of cheers we could think of to suck up to the gamemasters. It was quite tiring but not as tiring as yesterday. For the various games, we had to work together to beat our opponent and I believe everyone put in our utmost effort! Then for foosball, we lost to 15 by 1 point because the girl in their class scored a goal and got two points in the last minute. Even though we didn't win, tribe 1a and 1b of our awesome class won against their opponent! So we did win partially.

Lunch was delayed so it was shortened.

Then we had to learn the VJ mass dance. We learnt 2 mass dances, one called whiney whiney and the other neutron. The steps were simple but I can't remember the order.

After that, we had to build the boat. Some of us was in charge of building the boat while the rest had to do forfeit to get more materials. We managed to build two boats in the limited period of time and I think that the design was quite nice.

I think we all had fun like yesterday and will be looking forward to tomorrow-wet games!

Darren's Day 2 Reflections! :DD

HI EVERYONE. ONCE AGAIN. LOL.

I think I should copy Melissa and try to make my post longer by writing in lines J yay!

This morning started abit LOOOOOUDDDDD but I think I am getting more familiar with the lyrics of the cheers! Yay hahas.

Stations games can just be summarized in one word : Cheering.  It’s like we cheer more than we play. Fun but tiring anyways J

The most fun station was the shaving cream one! Though I got smeared with cream by Calvin but at least I did it back to him! But overall it’s all in the name of fun!

Me and Calvin had also got ourselves a great handful of wives(and husband) by proposing to almost all the Gamemasters thanks to the suggestion from Hans!

Fuseball rocked. Well at least cos I managed to score a goal but I am very sure that was a lucky shot. I hardly even play soccer!

Dancing was really boring for me and I was also pretty tired so I didn’t really do much J

Boat building was also very fun

--Station Games--

At the "flip the mat" game, it was really easy once we found loopholes. :\.

At the ping pong game, I got to "shave" yea totally needed one. :X

At the capture the flag game, oh gosh. It was really competitive. Unfair to guys. :< We can't snatch the girl's tags.

At the twister game, Youjing and vinc-OLIVER ah. -wink- -wink- tsk tsk. LOL. -zip-

[Youjing cannot read this. I scared tio slap. My hp cannot tank.]

At the chess game, when we were playing the role of the non-attackers, Youjing just stood at a corner, omg we didn't realise she was there till the game was over, while Dhiraj and I "danced" across the floor. :P (Y) DHIRAJ! :> Then the attacker role.. They kinda chose me and I came to a totally not expected win in less than 1 minute? LOL. Still good job to the other team! :D GOOD JOB! :>

GAHH I threw away a bottle and had to take my milk tea bottle.. :< SAD FACEEEE. HAHAS

Lunch was totally carrot cake-ish. Megan kept using my phone to msn.. -wink- -wink- Amazingly it tanked her usage. Youjing had to confiscate my phone from Megan cause she didn't eat at all. Youjing eats like some thing in tellytubbies. LOL.

Foosball. LOL. okay thats one word that I find really weird.. :\ Well.. After much fair play and accurate timing, -ahem- We lost 5 - 6. :\ Oh well 1A and 1B did well! 4 - 2! :D

Mass dancing should be in a parade square or something.. :\. There was not much space :< So yea.. Totally tiring and squeezed but worth it yeaaaa. :D

Last activity was boat building. Yes, the forfeit were more of “extra” suck ups lor… but anyways IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME building the boat. I guess our class needs to improve on our teamwork and we should really not act as an individual leading others.. -ahem-

But anyways good job IIVII! :> LOVE THE 11 FROM 100 Plus. LOL

CAMADARIE- IT CAME OUT IN OUR VICTORIA SCHOOL SA2 ENGLISH EXAMS..

(I think it was SA2 English if I remembered correctly..)

THE SECOND DAY [Si Yao]

Hi! See you again!!!

Today is the second day of the IPO.

The school cheers are difficult to remember, but I got it (maybe because of the station games) :-)

And the crazy mass dances~ I think they are a little stupid, however, they can make you full of energy``

 I caught all the actions, but did not know the order! Oh! I love dance!

During the boat building game, all our classmates come up with their own ideas and everybody had his or her own work.

We have done a good job!

Tomorrow is the “wet day” :-)

I am looking forward to it!

Reflections for Day 2

Since Tristen commented that my reflection for yesterday was too formal, I shall try to make it more informal today.

Today's IPO was boomz. The day started off with a BAAAAANNNNNNGGGGG!! SCHOOL CHEERS :D Everyone shouted their hearts out and the screams at the end of each cheer were just ear-piercing. At the station games, we locked horns with tribes from other classes and had to carry out some ridiculous (BUT FUN :DDDDD) tasks to obtain more points. The most interesting of all the tasks was where we had to throw 10 table tennis balls onto a plate with shaving cream. Zhen Yu, the imba thrower, got all 10 table tennis balls on the plate in just 2 mins! His throwing was so accurate that I felt he could be the next Yao Ming XDDDD The more interesting part was when we smeared shaving cream over Vincent's chin to get more points!!! After completing each task, we 'sucked up' to the game-masters and received some materials which would help in the 'construction' of a class boat. 

Fast forward to the boat-making. I felt our class design was simple but unique. So good job everyone!

The dance was somewhat fun :D

Overall, I felt that today's activities were fun and interesting but tiring.

CRAAAAZYYY- UHUH UHUH! (DAY 2WO)

Hello im the 1^st again YAY :P

The start of the day was like Deja-vu. Met calvin again at the bus (YAY) and headed to the room, or wadever room u call that. (oops I forgot wads it called :/) anyways, I felt great leading a VS-original-and-modified-into-VJ cheer (haha) and almost lost my voice there. Anyways, I think our class is the loudest (cos we’re awesome duh) haha so keep it up

Next activity was the station games. Sigh, today’s sucking up was harder. The psls joined the drk side and only a few maxed out the pts for my tribe :/ but anyways, we pwned (yes, pwned) the other rival tribe from v15 at every station game we met them at (ike 5ish) HAHA the “chess” game was an  was an interesting one. We  had an accidental-and-not-intentional win! LOL. Because at the 1^st game, when we were playing the role of the non-attackers, we were quite blur and some of us did not noe whether we got killed by the attacker or not. So we  stoned down there for half a minute then the psls used another half a minute to explain, so in the end WE WON YAY :D

Lunch was weird. Melissa and Darren were scavengers. Haha. And megan was… distracted.

Ps I love foosball WAY more than soccer. Haha. Move away EPL, VPL here we come! (lol jkjk)

Mass dancing… it was well, STUFFY AHEM COUGH. Stupid aircon. Dun wan to air-condition us. So naughty.  LOL but the moves were fun and interesting… like the whiney whiney ooh! Haha and the best part was the OOH OOH OOH OOH AH AH AH AH move. It’s such a sabo that I could pussssh the others behind (MUAHAHA).

PSL's you made my day!!

The day one, unlike ther other colleges (of India) starts with a short formal introduction and then "studies", but the VJ for me was the most different.The day 1 ended on a high note where we all had been completly exhausted by our PSL's but the more over important thing is that the fun that they brought was of all off a different colour. They gave us a learning which i bet  can be called funderstanding[fun + understanding] !!! :) PSL's effort was just displayed but i know we got more intresting things comiong upto us!!

  Hi!guys
  The first day in our laughters past.It quite excited to play so much games that are new for me.I was really enjoy the teamwork,but I feel sorry for my English is poor.

  And,the cheers are also novelty for me.I don't know words, just like everyone act together.I think I am supposed to memorize the words as soon as possible.

  I can just remember some of my dear classmates ,more than five ,I think.I am so sorry about it.But I think if I remember five every day ,I'll know every one very well after the orientation.（*.*）
