Okays anyways, sorry I'm a day late with the reflections, was really tired last night :/
It's really really so so so soooo sad that IPO has ended :( I mean, though it was tiring, we can't deny the awesome fact that it was so much fun! :) And i think that through IPO, I really bonded with you all, and all our painstaking sucking-up was worth it :)

Okay so winning IPO was an AMAZING feeling and all our hardwork paid off :) I'm soooo proud of all of us and I think that we've all be really cooperative and supportive of each others' ideas and that's how we got this far. Our next step is Inv!gorate and I know that we will do really well if we all work together. Our common goal --- 1st PLACE AND BRAGGING RIGHTS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! hahahah

Mmm kays so reflections need to talk about what I learnt right.. Hehehe:
BEGIN AS ONE, END AS ONE. Well, it's pretty self explainatory (<< is that how you spell haha) really. We start as an entire class, and in the process, we look out for each other and make sure no one lags behind. If they do, we turn around and give them a helping hand. And together, we reach the end as a whole class, VERY VICTORIOUSLY :D

Yeps this is the end of IPO but the start of our VIP journey. Hope we begin as 11V11 and end as 11V11, more bonded and loving than ever :)

psls, you guys were the one who made us turned the 116 awkward silent innocent people to crazyyyyy enthu AND SUCK-UP-A-LOT people. even though you guys didnt HAVE to, you guys spent so much effort, time and sweat so that we could have fun. seriously coming up with all the storyline and managing to link them to the games are crazyyyyy difficult and you guys manage to do it! [butbutbut, no offense, i have a feeling no one really cared about the storyline :P] it wasnt only the effort, time and sweat that you guys have to contribute but also all the late nights and obviously your voices. being cooped up in the com lab researching on greek mythology/tying up 4000+ water bombs [or sth like that]/doing up all the props isnt all that fun but you guys still did it for us. BUT at least you guys had the awesome "paycheck", that is, the fact that WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! :P

REFLECTION~~~~~

HEY~~~

Oh, it was the last day of our IPO. I’m so sad to face it. I had a wonderful five-day orientation with the awesome classmates and of course the awesome PSLs. I was totally surprised by the PSLs’ work. They put so much effort on it in order to let us have fun and …. I really appreciate it. Thank U, all the awesome PSLs. Oh, I’m proud that our class won at last. Awesome, everyone. I’m feeling WOOHOO right now.

Eh, what did we have today? ~~~Oh, station games in bigger tribes, mass dance, cheers competition and the VIP Initiation. We always have interesting games and funny dance. That’s great. And for the initiation I have to say that I’ve listened to the words (many of them) they told once before in China. And, oh, why did the staffs let the air conditioner running at such a low temperature? I was frozen even when I was wearing a shirt.

From IPO, I learnt a lot. (Of course I did.)  The teamwork, confidence and trust and many other spirits we learnt must be useful for the rest of our 4 years’ study and life here. (or maybe longer)

I have to say I really appreciate IPO. And I’d like to say thanks to the PSLs and the classmates one more time.

[LAST DAY]- YOUJING

Okay at first i didn't wanna post but.

Had our first assembly today(: It was ok. LOL.
Anw, the songs game thingy really got us hyped up (: lalalalla
The games today was super fun (: Required lots of trust and teamwork.
The silent cheers was epiccccc (Y)
Sucked up like mad. But anw the games were really awesome. Taught us many valuable lessons. (:

Anyway, WHY NO CHEER COMPETITION. D:
But yea the mass dancing was kinda awesome heh.
For the first time I was dancing enthu-ly. Like super enthu-ly. Heh. LOLOLOL. (GUILTY)

Then lunch blahblahblah. Then cheeeerr (: that was damn awesome. Our cheer rocks.

Then the sitting on each other thingy. omg. my legs breaking. BUT THEN AGAIN IT WAS KINDA EPIC. LOL.

Then the video thing which was epic-ly (Y) (Thanks to the director heh)
Then skit. Then one by one, the class gods went down. AND SOMEHOW THE CLASSES WERE ARRANGED ACCORDING TO THEIR POSITIONS.

WE WERE FREAKING SCARED/ SAD THAT WE GOT 2^ND. But…. THE MOMENT OF TRUTH…
WE GOT FIRST. OKAY THE GIRLS SCREAMED LIKE MAD. Even tho I have a sexaayyyeeee voice. STILL COULDN’T RESIST SCREAMING LIKE MAD. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Then cheered like mad after initiation. LOL. Then yea.

(cliché yet veryvery true paragraph) IPO has really taught me a lot yea. Its like not only can I apply wht I have learnt in ip life, I can also apply it in future. All the teamwork, confidence, etcetc. Lifelong lesson yea. It was really awesome. We bonded veryvery well(: And we seriously learnt how we can get along btr with our classmates. We really began as one and ended as one. Oneone rocks. With our determination and etcetc we clinched the 1^st place in IPO(: And we couldn’t have done that if we remained as 24 individual beings. Yea we rock. Rock on oneone. Lets do our best in inV!gorate (:

yay, boo, mixed feelings now that IPO officially ended when the initiation ended!
sian, anyways great job guys for thrashing 13 from their accidental glory yesterday! it was all thanks to our awesome tribe leaders angela and harish, who encouraged us all the way thru the games today! WOOHOO~~ all hail both of them! haha
anyway i learnt how to reaact proactively to situations today thanks to HADES. all hail Him. haha anyway, at the numbering station, richard taught us that whenevr we made a mistake in a group, we should react in the Victorian manner, which is not to blame that person,  but to encourage him to do better! :D


i love the photo montage! it brought back memories of our antics and reminded me that we really began as one and ended as 1 :D hahas anyway, T H ANK Y O U PSLS! u really have the force to make this IPO an enjoyable one (im not gonna say its tthe BEST ipo ive ever been to becos it will not make sense since this will be the ONLY ipo i have and will ever go to. LOL)

after that, we had a spammage of the 3cheers cheers. its awesome that we cheered for all our v11 class psls, in fact only our class did! and i want to thank u macbook, water bomb, justin bieber, shoe bag, and zhao xia voice. IPO could not be as great without u things :D

Reflections for Day 5 (Last Day)

Today was the last day of IPO! :(

We played station games and learnt the importance of teamwork, coordination and understanding. After five days of IPO, our class is more bonded and we all had fun! Then, we found out that we won IPO! We were all very happy! I think we learnt the most during IPO, as we had put in a lot of effort, opening up and being enthusiastic!

Then we had a mass dance session and played some sitting on each other and passing the rubber band through straws game. We learnt that we needed to trust each other in order to complete the game. After that we had senior-junior interaction and we played captain's ball and soccer. Then we went for VIP Initiation and listened to the principal Mr Chan and Mr Boy talk about the school. And that's the end of IPO. It's been a long and tiring day.

Day Five Reflections: Tristen Tjokro

Hey Guys, this should be the final reflection since today is the final day of IPO (IP Orientation, if you don’t know what it means, but that would be stupid) and sadly, all good things has to come to an end……then continued on another day where you have sports with other classes together with seniors and get scolded too if you do badly. Yippee! What can possibly go wrong? (I don’t want to have list out all the possibilities…)

Anyways, today was a special day, why? Simply because we had the VIP Initiation ceremony tonight, also because IPO ended and also because (drum roll please……) 11v11 was the champion class of the entire cohort. Woo Hoo! Woo Hoo! But I was so sure that when Harish was to say which tribe was the most enthusiastic, it should be safe that 1B was clearly the winner. (I mean like come on! 1B finished their lunch at Thai Pan within just 21 minutes!)

Moving on, compared to other days, today’s games were a bit dry. (no pun intended when compared to the third day.) However, that was made up though, when our class was Victorious… Jokes aside, I didn’t mean to snide the other classes, but…we are pretty awesome, that, I want to admit.

So, after the games, we also had the class photos which were used in the photo montage where there are pictures of me with faces like……never mind. Next, we also watched videos of our PSLs as class gods and also the behind the scenes of how the IP orientation was put together, I have to say, it was all good fun.

And after IPO was over, we still had the senior-junior interaction where we split up into people who wanted to play outdoor games: soccer, captain’s ball, etc, and there were also indoor games as well for people who didn’t want to get wet even though it was barely raining, just drizzling. After which, we had macdonald’s for dinner before carrying on to the LT for our VIP Initiation which was…what do you say? Informative or intimidating?

Also, I would just like to remind you guys, that next when we report to school for Invigorate, it would be at 7.40p.m, not 8.50p.m, that’s what I heard but it would always be better to be earlier than to be late, so I’ll still go at 7 in the morning regardless. Besides, even though IPO might be over, but I’m sure that we definitely still have even better things ahead of us. I also hope that this bit of information clears any doubt regarding the timing in which we have to arrive on this coming Monday for Invigorate.

Yay 4th day. Temperature taking was LOL. All so cold one. 
Mass dance was confusing lah, I could only see the PSLs heads and them talking so I had no idea what to do. LOL. 
Next amazing race! I decided I need to exercise more, I fail at running. The stations were very fun though! Woots we completed everything. 1C rocks! :D

Why must all good things come to an end. No its not IPO (yet), but AMAZING RACE. It was SUPER FUN LORH and I really enjoyed myself today. Sadly, the game ended with TRIBE 1Banana finishing last! (becos we were 2^nd and only 2 groups finished YAY ._.)

Today the day started off differently, as I was excited. Excited because RONZA HAS RETURNED TO GNAWNIA YAY FOR THE MOUSEHUNTERS :D and also, I was really looking forward to the long day ahead of me :D

My temperature was 35.6*C and it was so weird! But that was because I slept in aircon, took a bus with aircon, and went to a class with aircon! HAHA yay for 排比! Anyways, im so used to not bother remembering the teachers’ name that I said good morning ma’am. Haha and the rest of u were good-morninging the VP and CT with their names :D

Ok I realized that the friendship dance was much more fun when u do it with a person NOT OF THE OPPOSITE SEX. Its more fun and NOT EMBARRASSING: D (haha jack haha) anyways the new dance we learned today was rather simple, but I was too blurr as certain tall ppl blocked my view from the PSLs D:

Ok the activity we all have been waiting for… started with a bummer. The Sudoku puzzle was rather challenging, and we fell into the trap once, thus delaying our time. But with the help of all my 11 peers, we worked together as a class and solved the puzzle eventually! YAY

We had to slurp some yellow liquid (no its not pee/ diluted soya sauce in water) outside Neptune ct, bounce the ball, and learn a few random facts about my tribe leader in ECP, then taking a bus, overshotting 1 stop to a “ancient hymm” station. Ah. The don’t forget the lyrics. Apparently only I listened to Ke$ha’s We R Who We R :O but actually, one doesn’t have to know that song to answer the forgotten lyrics. THE FORGOTTEN LYRICS WAS THE TITLE. LOL :D

I lived half my life in Marine Parade, and only TODAY I know the place called thai-pan existed :O hahas, cheap, fast, awesome food. I think my tribe had a CNY reunion dinner siol. We ordered 3 plates of different rice, and shared the food amongst 6 ppl. It was like so COOL. We scoop a serving into a bowl, then we passed it around to others, like so GUAI (good. Not weird) :D

Btw, there’s a reason why VS have uncle foo.

Anyways, we cleared lunch in 21 minutes. Yes. Twenty-one. And we overtook 3 of the v12 tribes! HAHAHAHA my tribe and PSL Angela were laughing all the way until the next station :D awesuuum!

After a few more weird forfeits and interesting activities, we finally arrived at the castle of aura, AKA PARKWAY”S CNY DECORED FOUNTAIN. Haha :/ while we were clearing the roadblock, we went to KOI café and wanted to order some BBT. However, we left our wallets at Aura’s care so we couldn’t buy BBT D: but my tribe was waaaaaaaay ahead of the 3^rd tribe so after clearing the food-tasting station and claiming our ticket to Olympus, we slacked at KOI as well as 7/11 :D YAY

My tribe earned a total of *********** pts just by sucking up, inclusive of new and impronto awesome/cute suck ups :D most of the gamemasters love them, and I bet one of them is THIS:

next go E. hub for MASS DANCE:) recalled all the dances we learned the previous days:) Messy as usual..
We were attempted to be taught the 'newest' mass dance... which originated since 199something? LOL Most complicated but coolest the PSLs say.. We got bored and tired.. and in order to conserve some energy for the impending energy draining activity, the AMaZNG Race, the PSLs decided to postpone the dance to learn tomorrow..
So we started the race sooner..


IT WAS AWESOME like us:D got to learn of the different hangouts around east coast by Victorians VS and VJC alike.. Thaipan, Udders, Ice Cream Chef... 
My tribe didn't complete the whole of the race due to some circumstances lalala haha..
With Darren around, cracking cheesy pick-up lines and flirting much, laughter and MORE laughers are brought up.. Especially when I-Lin, Germaine and Bing Lin were around.. Darren just never fails to piss them off HAHA Erotic Darren, but great to have him around:) Tribes 1A and 1D were together for most of the race.. So begin as 1, be half midway and end as 1? hahaha

Vincent's less procrastinated IPO Reflection (yay)

Heyyoo.

This is the earliest time I've ever posted a IPO Reflection :D Im so proud of myself.

Well okay, today we had 'assembly' at our own classrooms. It was really epic cos it's the first time any of us ever had aircon in our classrooms, so we immediately turned it on. We assumed that we could do that cos our CT didn't say anything about it when she walked in. (Coff Coff) Maybe that's why some of our thermometers during the temperature taking exercise showed sub-36°C readings. And...That's when we learnt a lesson. At that moment VP walked in and she told us the daily morning procedures, such as opening the windows, turning on the fans...and not turning on the aircons. :/ Oh well, no more cold mornings for us D:


We then proceeded to the E-Hub for our Mass Dance event, with our daily dose of Tristen's 'WHOO WHOO'. We had to learn an easy song and a hard song. If you ask me, I'm just glad the songs don't require a partner. When the dances started, most of us couldn't really see the PSLs and the moves they were doing cos of the mountain's of heads blocking us. The ones who managed to see were frantically trying to mirror-image the dance moves, mainly cos the PSLs were facing us, so their left was our right and stuff. In the end... I still think the first dance was the best. Maybe it's cos we were standing in a circle, so we could see the moves more easily. Also, there was a dedicated PSL teaching us the dance moves. Maybe its just us. We had tha skillz on day 2. :D


Then came the Awesome Amazing Race! Before anything like this happens during IPO, I always mentally prepare myself for the forfeits, so I won't be so stunned. :) We went to many places I never knew existed. Like Ice-Cream Chef and Udders. Whoever planned this Race must really like Ice-Cream. Also along the way, my tribe kept meeting up with the udder other 11s' tribes, so sucking up wasn't much of a problem cos we could always come together to do a mass 11 cheer. :) We even learnt how to say 'I Love You' in Hindu. :O We then went to the Library, where noise was forbidden. And... that's when the forfeits poured it. Honestly, I was glad I had Darren and Calvin to do them with me. We had a trio proposal to Germaine and I Lin. (Yay I named them. :D) Darren then started to massively flirt. Well all I can say is, not bad. ;D


Returning back to the E-hub, I started to look at my watch every few seconds. That's right. I was late for mah Piano Class, and I haven't even left VJ yet... When Harish said 'You guys are dismissed', I immediately yanked my bag and rushed out of the room, hailing a cab. I got the cab almost immediately, but there was a friggin jab at KPE. So I ended up being 45 minutes late. D:


..ANYWAY,that paragraph above was a bit extra:D. I think Day 4 was a great day in IPO as we had a chance to explore the vicinity around VJC, knowing more things and where's the nearest Ice-Cream Shop. Heck, I was in VS for 2 years, and I've never heard of 'Udders'. :O

Ginnette's Reflections for Day 4

I died before I could do day 3. Thanks to the little little little bit of vitamin water I had, I am still alive now. You guys should drink vitamin water. Everybody should drink vitamin water. IT'S GOOD FOR YOU!
So today had mass dance again, I still find it confusing. I can't remember anything. GAH. Amazing race was fun. Tiring though, I realise how unfit I really am. Was so funny that we met up with every single team along the race. 1A paired with 1D towards the end. I think Bruno Mars has issues. Someone get him a shrink. Thai pan's mee goreng is nothing like the maggie mee mee goreng I know and love. I feel cheated. The portions are very big too. *feeling guilty about wasting food* Udders has nice mango sorbet. I wish they were more generous with their scoops. 
We didn't complete all the stations but thats ok, at least we have fun. We all returned to VJ after the Udders stations sweating and stinking up the bus. 
After that I can't really remember what happened cause I was stoning and feeling really really blur.

Day [4] IPO ending T_T

Just wanna say that the Amazing Race was extremely well planned. :D Good job PSLs. Although there were some stations which had too many teams at once, but cant be helped since there were like... 20 tribes. So we went back and forth VJC and Parkway. Met some of our sec school teachers on the bus also and felt so weird/ paiseh. For much of the stations the whole class were together and we did suck up cheers as 1 class ' begin as 1 , end as 1' :D.

So thats pretty much all for today.

Tomorrow is already the last day of IPO... :( sad.........................................

Day Four Reflections: Tristen Tjokro

Hey guys, I would gladly like to ask you how your day was, but sadly, we all know how it is. Regardless, I still feel rather sore about the fact that tomorrow would be the last day of IP Orientation. It was so much fun, that I just can’t bear to not continue having it. I was like why??? But then Horatio told me that we still had Invigorate ahead of us next Monday so actually it isn’t so bad……yet.

Anyways, tomorrow we still have a mass dance to learn (what’s more, it’s the most difficult one of all!), and after which, we still have to dance all the six dances that we learnt from the previous days! Isn’t that just great? I’m not even thinking of how to get myself to the toilet during then to skip it…Oops.

Never mind, we also had the ‘Amazing’ race today. You know what’s so amazing? It’s because not everybody managed to complete all the stations, I’m telling you, if it was the real thing, tons of people would be eliminated straight away. Another amazing fact would be that today, my group, 1B, managed to finish our lunch within 21 minutes, inclusive of going to the toilet, eating our dishes, waiting for the food to be served and ordering food as well. And then, when we left the restaurant, the other group which were way ahead of us, had this look on their faces saying what the hell are these people made of? Are they that enthusiastic? I was literally laughing my insides that I almost chocked on my water.

That’s wasn’t all. We were so fast that we even had time to stop at a bubble tea shop, KOI, order drinks, take a break and even go seven-eleven at the same time, all within quite a long period of time and no other teams managed to catch up too. I have to say though, even though my group managed to finish all the stations and complete the race, however, we didn’t managed to do any of the stagger challenges at school, and when we came back, they were already over, losing out on a whole lot of points. It was so adrenaline-pumping that I didn’t even that 4 hours had already passed.

By the way, I was definitely right that every single day of IPO is never once boring makes me want to sleep. I’m always like sitting right on the edge of my seat, waiting for something to come knock me down. I’m am extremely satisfied with today and I hope that tomorrow would be just the same as well.

omg, okay i should probably write my reflections daily so i wont mix up the games! omgomgomgogmgomg, mass game was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun BUT SCARY!!! okay the part when the seniors were with us was fine lah [except when we saw the loophole in the game, heh heh], but OMG when it came to the protect-your-water-bomb-and-balloons game, IT WAS SCARY!!!! seriously, it was like everyone became crazyyyyy and start to yell/scream and grab soooo violently!! like there was this guy that shouted ARRRRRRR SHE GOT ONE SHE GOT ONE THEY GOT ON GO GO GO GO GO and then he stretched out his hands towards me when KRISTEL HAD THE BALLOON like he wanted to strangle me or something, seriously can die. i was like omgomgomgomg, i dont have the balloon and gave him my best please-dont-kill me look. everyone was SOOOOO AGGRESSIVE!!! and the look on their face was definitely a I-WANT-TO-KILL-YOU look! oh yeah and suddenly another team came from dont know where and my tribe was like stuck in between. then it became so much worse when kristel started screaming like hell. *deep breath*. i hope i dont need to play that game anymore.
omgomgomgogmgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg the GUY WHO INVENTED THE GAME THAT JING KAI WAS IN CHARGE IN IS A PSYCHO!!!!!!!!!! it's SOOOO GROSS!!!! EWWWW. AND I HATE SOYA SAUCE NOWWWWWW!!! GRRR!!!! horrific memories. anyway, im so sad that i got injured in the wrong parts at the wrong time lah! so i couldnt bomb you guys! no fair! :(

oh YEAH READ THIS SENIORS: when we were learning the mass dance, horatio was like do you guys wanna learn tmr so that we can start the amazing race now. or you guys wanna learn now, so that you have more time to for senior junior interaction, the whole class was unanimously agreed on learning today!!!!!! so sweet of us right!!! [omgomgogmgomgomgomgomg, im starting to sound so cheesy ewwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!] oh amazinggg race!!!! omg, our ct joined my tribe and it was so awkward and funny since we havent really interacted with her much and stuff, omg does she have the blog address?!?!?!  funny cos she was so cute funny when she went im more than 10 years older than you all [hint hint], you all better run faster than me ar!! and she's very nice!! like she didnt scold us BUT like yknow keep asking about ourselves and stuff! [oi im not saying this cos i think she knows our blog address okay!] but we stopped running after the third station already lah, heh heh. but anyway, what made everything so much better was that like at the last few stations, 1A and 1D just went everywhere together!! and HA darren, your witty wannabe comments CANT BEAT mine! and then like at most of the stations we just went if we do together as a class [kinda lah], we can max out right? then omgomgomg, the station at udders was so funny cos we were like anyhow cos it was the last station before we had to go back! and yong jie was kept giving the omg-im-being-bullied face, or something like that lah.
omgomgomgomgomgogmogmgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg, senior junior interaction tomorrow!!! yay!!

so today was less tiring than the other days, cause it was a lot shorter!

the mass dances are super hard, and my co-ordination is like... non-existent. :P

the amazing race was really fun, though we couldn't get through all the stations. we met up with tribe 1D after a while, and finished together. ;) begin as 1, end as 2.

congrats to tribe 1B for winning second place! i have no idea how you got through all those stations.

Darren's Day 4 Reflections! :DD

HARLO AGAIN AGAIN. I noticed everyone’s post is like shrinking. I wonder why.. J

Mass dance was… UBER ENTERTAINING. Ahem. Obviously not my favourite thing to do!

Amazing race was really fun. At least we get to travel out of the school compound!

The games were really well organiseddd. There was a fly in the drink for the first station though.. but we still finished it all LOL

We were mostly running or walking around with I-lin LAGGING BEHIND WITH THE GOLD SACK AND SUDDENLY CATCHING UP.

After reading jaslyn’s post I realised that I-lin really didn’t eat like breakfast or lunch.. so I’m suspecting she’s alien or supernatural.

Sadly we didn’t finish all the stations but at least we all had fun and bonded together even more J
